Where To Find Free Photos For Your Blog
Paying for pictures for your blog can add up, especially for new bloggers. Here’s where to find free photos for your blog.
Are you stealing others work by posting pictures you shouldn’t be? Even if you put your cute font and a catchy title on top of a photo, it is still considered copyright infringement! Not only is this just impolite, it’s illegal and you could be fined. Don’t do it to yourself.
Instead, opt for free photos for your blog. If you have a good camera and an eye for photography, take your own pictures (Check out these photography tips for bloggers from The Sits Girls) ! This is essential if you have a recipe blog or a crafting blog. For blogs like mine that serve up more general advice, you can still have a beautiful blog and blog graphics without having to snap your own pics (and I live far away from any ocean, so this works for me since my blog has a beachy theme!)
Generic, yucky stock photos can look so tacky. Luckily, a lot of these sites have beautiful, full resolution pictures that are absolutely gorgeous and free! When I first started blogging, it took me a while to find the sites I liked, that were easy to search, had great pictures and were truly free. I started collecting them on a spreadsheet, and I figured I should share where I go for images to help out other bloggers and online entrepreneurs. So have some fun with your pictures and graphics, but make sure they are free of copyright.

Once you’ve got your pictures, I recommend using PicMonkey to edit them and make them your own. It’s what I use on my blog, it’s SO easy and I love their service! They are free, and have an upgraded, paid version that will rock your world.
I did my best, but sometimes things can change fast! Make sure you double check that whatever pictures you find have no restrictions and are free to use before you use them. Did I miss any places to find free photos for your blog? Shout them out in the comments and I’ll keep the list updated!
