This work at home cleaning schedule has changed my life.
When I had my office desk job, I felt like I never had enough time to clean. If I was lucky, I got to it on the weekends or sometimes in the evenings after work. One of the things I was the most excited about to begin working remotely was that I could focus more energy on taking care of my home.
Welp – My first week came and went and I spent more time working than cleaning, just like when I had an office job! I quickly realized that if I was going to get any cleaning done around the house, I was going to need a schedule to give myself some structure. Combining work and your responsibilities around the home can be chaotic, but a cleaning schedule can help give you the organization you need to stay productive at work as well as keeping up with household chores. So, I made one.
I love this schedule so much. Here’s why:
*It’s super quirky and cute.
*You can make it your own! It’s completely free! Go ahead and share it, edit it, and use it as you wish.
*It has an overall weekly and daily chores list.
- I had my cleaning schedule printed as a 11×14 photo so I could hang it on a wall (a great way to stay accountable for what your daily tasks are as well as to remind other household members what else needs to be completed).
*I printed it as a glossy finish so I can use dry erase markers and an eraser to check off which chores have been conquered.
*It’s available in Pink Ombre, Blue Ombre, and Teal Chevron. Have fun and I hope this helps you stay productive because if you are anything like me, you’ve got planet of your own work to do besides cleaning the house.
You can use any photo printing website to print this. I use Snapfish, which lets me customize the size. You can use upload these schedules on PicMonkey (I’m obsessed with PicMonkey and have created all the images on my blog with their software beeteedubs) and then use the free draw tool to pick up the surrounding color and erase the font away so that you can create your own, as no one work-at-home household is the same.
I’m off to get started on my daily chores! Does anyone else have a cleaning schedule they use that they like?
