Expat, location independent, career gypsy, remote worker, digital nomad….the list of terms used to describe the wanderlust worker is extensive and not always inclusive.
The common denominator in all these nicknames? We can and do travel and vacation while we work. We can work at our parent’s house while we visit them back home, a shared coworking space around other local nomads, a sandy beach while we wait for a work conference to kick-off, or at home with our kids. It’s pretty amazing, mostly because this type of work allows for a spectacular incredible work life balance.
